Cheese has always been enjoyed in our family – we’ve been making, sharing, eating and celebrating this incredible food in various forms for generations. You could say it’s in our blood – not literally of course… well possibly a bit!
When my granny from Westray introduced me to the process of cheesemaking as teenager, I hoped I would one day produce a version of my own. Granny was the original inspiration, but my foodie family and friends are the driving force – they encouraged me to develop something new that builds on this heritage, yet is versatile enough to suit modern tastes and recipes.
